We had a wonderful stay for the NYE gala event they had. It was great. Everything was clean, the staff were all helpful and super friendly, and the rooms were very nice. Our only complaint was that the heat in our room wouldn't work properly. Someone fixed it once, but then it broke again the next day.The event was super fun. Lots of rooms with music, food, dancing, gambling. At midnight a confetti cannon went off which was fun. We tried to go outside and watch fireworks, but you can't see them at all. That was our fault though, because we never asked.Lots of fun things to do within walking distance, but also a lot to do within the hotel itself.Overall a great stay. Can't wait to return!

Nice location, busy hotel. Great staff. Historic and has been featured in many movies. Hilton has always been our favorite chain of hotels and 90% of our stays are at Hilton. They have a standard of doing things and cleanliness that exceeds expectations. Except for this Hotel. #1 - after walking throughout the the city, you come to a room where slippers are no longer offered to guests. Front desk person has informed us that slippers are no longer offered to guest. I have been to Hilton in Fiji where slippers were provided but i didn't need to use them. But again their flooring was not old carpet that is filled with dirt and bacteria from guests shoes after walking throughout the city.#2 - Gross: My wife, after the third day, noticed that their bed cover sheet does not have a duvet. When inquiring about this matter, we were informed that they were out of duvets but they can try to figure something out. Bit too late since we will be leaving a day later and whatever we would have caught from the previous guests, is already caught.I understand when hotels are cutting back on costs and trying to save money, and i am not saying that this is the reason in this case, but aren't these basic standards of cleanliness!!Next time i visit Chicago, i will call and inquire ahead of time if this Hotel has changed its' policy on such matters before i book another stay.

Best hotel I have stayed at in a while! Beautiful clean rooms and wonderful amenities! The pool and gym are amazing! 2 hot tubs y'all! Mike at the desk for the fitness center was great! He even brought us cold bottled water as we sat in the hot tub 10/10 service and wonderful staff. The people cleaning the rooms were so incredibly friendly too!

I stayed here May 2019 and had a bad memory about it. The first room that I checked in was right next to the other building so the view was completely blocked with the wall. I had to go down and asked them to change to better view which was lake view and I had to pay $50 for it. I never experience claustrophobic but I did here. Now I am a diamond member so I bet I could get a better room without paying extra but it was so traumatic. The lake view was nice though. I didn't have a breakfast or using pool/gym so the room is all I could talk about. Go here if you have good enough status or you will need to see the wall of other building so so close to you.

Location was superb!!! The hotel is an older building but I was pleased with the accommodations. What I loved about the rooms was the fact that there were 2 full bathrooms, which is much needed when traveling with 2 other women. We were also in walking distance of many restaurants. Many guests that attended the BEARS football game stayed here. The outdoor rooftop was ideal for getting some sun and relaxing. I would recommend the Hilton!👌🏾

Great location! We were in town for a concert, but the location to all the sights is perfect! We were able to walk to Soldier Field.
In-house restaurant and another eatery - was so convenient.
Friendly staff.
The rooms were very clean, just maybe need a little upgrade in the bathrooms. We had a room with two queens and 2 bathrooms, the bathrooms were a little on the small side.
Overall, great experience - a pricier hotel, but the location cannot be beat!

My company just celebrated our week long Annual Board Meeting, Awards Banquet and Championship Cat Show at this lovely period hotel, maintained lovely in all aspects. The service was superior and friendly upon our arrival and throughout our weeks stay.
It was very evident the leadership in this establishment knows how to build a strong, happy, and enjoyable, team because everything was top notch and delivered with helpful happy smiling employees, dedicated to exceeding even the most picky guests.
The banquet was seriously the very best I’ve ever attended, and I’ve been to 100’s. Each table in our 200+ gathering received personal attention as though we were dining individually. The food was exceptional, it was hot just like it was right out of the kitchen, such smooth, seamless delivery. The server for our table never missed a detail and was on-top every minute. Very impressive, excellent service and food. Dinning at its best.
I highly recommend this exceptional hotel, overlooks the park and the lake. You can tell each employee is proud of their place of work and enjoy serving their guests.

Where do I start. The rooms are small and quality is equivalent to a best western. I will say the bed is comfort. The ac feels more like a swamp cool. The room is clean. The parking is sketchy. There was broken glass in the parking garage as if some broke into a car or it was stolen. The parking garage is not particularly safe if you are a woman traveling alone no cameras and extremely overpriced but I guess that what you pay for being in the city. For $300+ a night there should be room service. You are in the heart of the city so that is a plus if you are a tourist. The elevator are old and rickety and need renovation like the rooms do. The lobby gives you the feel of a 4-5 star hotel especially for this price but you are extremely underwhelmed when you get to your room. Won’t be staying here ever again.

The staff were all great. The fitness center was the best one I have used at a hotel. It included a 20 yard pool. The rooms were clean and modern. The 1927 building was beautiful. If you ever get a chance to stay, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We went to a show at the United Center and the drive was not bad at all from the Hotel. Stayed two nights and spent the next day walking around the loop. Great location and super clean facilities. The pool is worth going to as well. Best gym I have ever seen in a hotel.

We've stayed here twice and it's now my go-to Chicago hotel. Excellent location across from Grant Park, close to museums, and the train. Wonderful pool/fitness center, beautiful, old elegant lobby. Rooms are comfortable. Great place to stay with kids, too. My son's 11 and he loved it, too. I can't wait for room service to come back and have him feel extra fancy getting that! I've gotten very reasonable rates both times, as well, better than an AirBnb by far. If you use Park Chirp, there's great, not too expensive parking only a couple blocks away. I did digital check this past visit, which was great and, but used the front desk back in July. Front desk staff was wonderful and friendly that time. I adore this hotel.

Location, cleanliness, hospitality, beauty - this hotel checks every box for us. We have stayed at the Hilton Chicago several times and become more impressed each time. The rich history, the opulent beauty, and decor, the convenience, and the cleanliness are all reasons why we've returned to this hotel. We also love the availability of two-bathroom hotel rooms which are mega-convenient when traveling with teenagers!! We will definitely stay again on our frequent trips to Chicago and confidently recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed the weekend of 12/3 for a mini-vacation.We had won a Chicago Dibs package back in Dec. 2019 and had planned to stay here March 2020. Well COVID changed all that and the gift certificate was supposed to expire the end of April 2020. Since we originally had a room booked, the Hilton said they would honor the certificate through the end of this year. They could have easily said it was void due to the pandemic and all, but we were still able to use it! So thank you the the Hilton team for doing that.The rooms were very clean and modern. All the staff was great, but especially Kyle who checked us in at the front desk when we arrived on Friday. The grab and go Herb and Kitchen was convenient for a quick bite and coffee. Kitty O' Sheas bar in the hotel was fun with some entertainment on Friday night, and also provided a late night snack as they were still serving food around 11:00 PM.Overall the staff and the accommodations were great. This is a good location to stay for either a Bears game, a visit to the various museums, or just easy access to the Loop area.We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the windy city.

I give to this hotel one star, just because the architecture in the lobby is beautiful. But, the rest of the hotel is very dated and customer service is on a third world country. I’ll explain why, and I know that this is nothing to do with the pandemic. I totally understand the situation.1.- the guys in the front of the Hotel weren’t courteous to us. I feel like that had an attitude.2.- At the front desk of course, the guy who checked us in, didn’t even looked at our faces and he asked us if we will need a housekeeper, and we said yes.3.- Day three I called costumers services to let them know our room needed more towels and clean linens. They put me on hold for 20 minutes, I hang up and call again. The lady with attitude told me to wait again and at the end told me that she was going to send someone. Which that never happened in our whole stay.Of course l, we are never going to comeback again.This hotel is not even the shadow that used to be in the past. Whoever is managing this place is not professional at all. The entire crew is very unprofessional.

I always stay Hilton and this historic hotel did not disappoint. Close to the Bears stadium and Millennium park, great pool/ hot tub, comfortable rooms, beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the lobby and even a cookie/donut decorating station on Saturday morning made my family's destination Christmas a great success. This is a top notch hotel and so beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff is kind and helpful-every staff member we spoke with. This is not common unfortunately. The rooms are clean and the amenities are impressive. We loved the pool and hot tubs. The workout area is also great, but we didn't use it. A walking track? Very cool. There is Starbucks coffee and many options for snacks or a sandwich. Kitty O'Shea's has a great menu-we ordered and picked it up without leaving the hotel.
There was security at the front of the hotel which was a plus. It is a perfect distance to walk to the museums or different restaurants. We would recommend to anyone-with or without kids! We will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here over the weekend. Julius D at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. He was such a pleasure to meet and chat with. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet at night. The comfort food at the restaurant was pretty good and also had an enjoyable time at the lobby bar later in the evening. I didn't catch our waiter's name but he too was very friendly and attentive. We were able to reserve a time slot for the pool area that the kids enjoyed. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and would look to stay here again in the future.

The hotel is pretty nice, and has a historic look to it. That said the historic vibe also translates into an old style hotel. The rooms are fairly dark, and the view from my room was the side of a building. If I hadn't been in Chicago for a conference I probably would've chosen a more conveniently located hotel. Since this property is on the edge of downtown it's convenient to Millennium Park, but expect to walk a lot to get anywhere else.
If it weren't for the fact that they charge to store luggage on departure I would've given four stars. When I emailed about this fee the management said, "We offer complimentary luggage storage for arrival, however for departures we have opted for paid service for the security and proper management of the guest's luggage due to the volume and size of the property." So they'll store for free before they've got your money for the room, but not after. How does charging a cash only fee improve security? Sounds like a side hustle to me.

It was our first time staying in a hotel with our dog. I had some minor concerns at first but the staff at the lobby explained every dos and don’ts in detail and I was relieved. They even assigned us to the big room and we enjoyed our stay so much. Thanks to the staffs and we would love to stay again soon. Even my dog didn’t want to leave after the checkout.

No hicieron la limpieza del cuarto y estuvimos allí tres días y dos noches. A pesar de haber avisado en recepción, no se hizo nada por solucionarlo. Teníamos dos camas en la habitación y tenían distinto color de frazada, lo que hacía que no fuera estético en esa "supuesta"categoría de hotel.Tampoco tenían servicio de wifi en en el cuarto, salvo pagando a parte. La terraza con buenos sillones pero descuidada, sin flores o plantas y pasto en las macetas.Excelente ubicación

This hotel is not your usual Hilton standard. The usual amenities like working refrigerator or even a microwave are not in these hotels. The room I stayed at was dirty and had old pizza boxes in it. Guest services could not be contacted from the room. Also be aware that they will raise their parking charges depending on when you stay. If you unfortunately stay at this location, there are several parking locations near by, including across the street will let you park your car for a reasonable price.

A mixed experience. We really wanted to love this hotel. It’s sat in a great part of Chicago and close to all the busy parts most want to see.
Upon check in, we were informed that we only had a single bed for two, so that wasn’t going to work and there was no view. So reluctantly we forked out the additional $200 (you just got the very real sense they will nickel and dime you for everything here) for an upgrade to the ‘executive floor’ with a view. Now the view was nice, mainly of the river and partly of the city. We were also promised an $80 voucher to use across the hotel (this credit was not applied and we had to later go back and request it).
The room was fine, a little small, especially the bathroom. But it was clean and functional. It contained a fridge but no microwave.
The bed although initially comfortable, after an hours sleep proved less than perfect. After 4 nights at the hotel we were both exhausted and had back pains and longed for home in Texas. The pillows were just hopeless, and the mattress just too soft.
On a plus note, the hotel made a great effort with the Christmas tree.

The Hilton Chicago is a fantastic hotel to stay at. Right in the heart of the windy city. The lobby was absolutely gorgeous with marble from floor to ceiling. The front desk staff were very helpful and patient. The room I stayed in had a beautiful window view. The rooms were clean and modern.

Deja mucho que desear! Después de hacer la reserva me invitaron a ser Hilton honors, pero no me cargaron los puntos por haber hecho la reserva con Booking. La habitación es muy linda pero el baño es chico, no hay agua mineral de cortesía ni pantuflas, el wifi se desconecta todo el tiempo! Y a pesar de ser Hilton Honors me cobraron 2 dólares por cada equipaje para guardarlo un par de horas!

El hotel fue una decepcion absoluta para mi y mi familia. En primer lugar, ningun miembro del equipo de recepcion hablaba castellano, lo cual me parece una falta grave de un hotel que se supone que es de categoria. Ademas, reserve 3 noches y ellos en su programa interno solo marcaron 2, obligandome hacer el check out a las12 del medio dia cuando me venian a recoger a las 3am. Ellos en vez de prolongarme la estancia, me obligaban a marcharme y bloquearon la entrada en la habitacion. En conclusion, un hotel que no se lo recomiendo a nadie que vaya a visitar Chicago. Decepcion absoluta.
